Wow - what a flat world it truly is. When you can meet people from all over the world and never leave your house. Explored different islands, tried different keyboard activities, received Linden $$, learned how to buy things (that cost money and that are free) and met a lot of people interested in technology and education from around the world including a professor of nursing. He uses second life with nursing students. They have avatar patients with certain syptoms, students decide on a treatment path and dicuss diagonis. This whole concept intrigues me.
Cindy is the Business & Technology Department Chair at a high school where she teaches Graphic Design, Web Design and Digital Media. She also teach professional development courses. She serve on many district & building technology committees and serve on the board for a local credit union. She is a Flat Classroom Certified Teacher and an Adobe Education Leader. She is a content developer and the lead Web Design instructor for the Montana Digital Academy. In addition, she is a Faculty Affiliate with the University of Montana. She has a Masters Degree in Technology Education and has her administrative license. She recently was awarded the Adobe Education Leader Impact Award.
